An update to the Rustic Roads Functional Master Plan began in July 2019. This project will include the review of 20 nominated roads, descriptions for 29 roads currently in the Rustic Roads Program, and the integration of policies and programs that are not currently addressed in the master plans.
Rustic Roads Master Plans
- Rustic Roads Functional Master Plan Update (2023): This document builds upon the 1996 plan and contains descriptions for all 114 roads in the program.
- Rustic Roads Functional Master Plan (1996): The original master plan, this document provides information about the program, its intent, history and regulations, as well as descriptions of the initial 66 roads designated under the program.
