New Zoning Code and Zoning Map
Planners have rewritten the County’s zoning code and updated the zoning map to modernize antiquated, redundant zoning regulations, and to create new tools to help achieve goals in community plans. The new zoning code and zoning map were adopted by County Council in the spring of 2014, and became effective on October 30, 2014.
