West County Planning Division is Northwest of Washington, DC in Montgomery County and on the north side of the Potomac River. West County is served by major roadways such as the Capital Beltway (I-495) and I-270. West County Planning oversees the development and master planning efforts for neighborhoods like Bethesda, Friendship Heights, Potomac, Chevy Chase, North Bethesda, and the Great Seneca Science Corridor.
