Pay by check
Checks can be mailed or dropped off at the Montgomery Planning Information Counter. We are located on the second floor of 2425 Reedie Drive, Wheaton MD, 20902, and are open from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. If mailing a check, please address it to:

Checks must be made out to any of the following:
- Montgomery Planning
- Montgomery County Planning Department
- MNCPPC
Checks must also have a printed return address on the check itself. We cannot accept handwritten return addresses. Checks should include the plan or citation number of the project being paid for in the memo line.
Pay by cash
Fees can also be paid in cash. When submitting a cash payment, include a transmittal that includes the plan/citation number.
Pay by credit card in-person
We can also process credit card payments in-person at the Information Counter. Credit card transactions incur a 2.55% service fee. When submitting a cash payment, include a transmittal that includes the plan/citation number.
