I understand that:
Removal and treatment of non-native invasive vegetation may be necessary before and after forest is planted.
Montgomery Planning works in partnership with property owners to conduct necessary maintenance to establish young trees.
If my property is subject to a development application that is required to comply with the Forest Conservation Law (Chapter 22A of the County Code), the Tree Canopy Law (Chapter 55 of the County Code) Law, or implement a landscape plan as part of a subdivision plan or a site plan, it is not eligible for free reforestation through the Reforest Montgomery program.

(Required)
I understand all of the following:
Removal and treatment of non-native invasive vegetation may be necessary before and after forest is planted.
Montgomery Planning works in partnership with property owners to conduct necessary maintenance to establish young trees, and that I should notify Montgomery Planning if trees appear unhealthy within the first two years after planting (withered/brown leaves, not leafing out, brittle branches, unfamiliar insects).
If I decide to move forward with reforestation after consulting with Montgomery Planning staff, I will be required to sign a right-of-entry agreement to allow Montgomery Planning’s agents access to the above property, and I understand that the planting and maintenance may be scheduled for a day or time when I am not at home or available.
I should notify Montgomery Planning if trees appear unhealthy within the first two years after planting (withered/brown leaves, not leafing out, brittle branches, unfamiliar insects).
