The Wheaton Plan: A Georgia Avenue Community Plan
Wheaton is a community that is filled with pride; pride for the neighborhood’s culture, diversity, and identity. That’s why we’re carefully planning for future growth of this special neighborhood. The Wheaton Plan will examine elements like retail, housing, and streetscape to explore how these can be improved and enhanced to meet both current and future needs. Montgomery Planning is building this together with the community—which means together with you. That’s why we’re working on The Wheaton Plan—looking at how we can support the businesses you depend on, improve how you get around, plan for the right kind of housing for current and future neighbors, while keeping Wheaton, well… Wheaton.
