Planners to Issue Clarksburg Status Report at Thursday Planning Board Hearing

SILVER SPRING, MD – On Thursday, May 10 at approximately 11
a.m.,
Montgomery County planners will deliver a comprehensive status report
to the Planning Board about development activity in the northern community of
Clarksburg.

Planning Board Chairman Royce Hanson asked staff for a report
that provides both historical background as well as a snapshot of current
development.

Staff’s summary will cover residential and commercial
development, construction of parks and trails, schools, roads and pending
enforcement actions. The staff also will update the board on the third phase of
development planned for Clarksburg Town Center. No public testimony will taken.
