The Montgomery County Planning Department will hold an online public meeting of the Pedestrian Master Plan Community Advisory Group at 6:45 p.m. on June 11.
The meeting will feature presentations on two topics:
- The Complete Streets Design Guide: a joint effort with the Department of Transportation (MCDOT) to provide clarity and consistency in how we design our streets countywide
- Purple Line Pedestrian Station Access Analysis and Recommendations: How the Planning Department has used the Pedestrian Level of Comfort Analysis to make recommendations to improve pedestrian conditions around future Purple Line stations.
The meeting will provide an opportunity for members of the Advisory Group and the public to ask questions, and share pedestrian issues and experiences. Public participation will be possible at the end of the meeting.
Please RSVP for the meeting if you can.
