Dr. Jeremy C. Wells is an Assistant Professor in the Historic Preservation Program in the School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation at the University of Maryland, College Park. His research focuses on the psychology of heritage places; making the preservation enterprise more equitable, just, and resilient; and Innovative community engagement tools for preservation planners. Wells runs the web site, http://heritagestudies.org, to explore these topics with the goal of making historic preservation more human-centered. He prefers the pronouns he/his/him.
