come before the Montgomery County Planning Board on Thursday, May 31:
§ A brief discussion to set a public hearing date to
consider revisions to the county’s existing Forest Conservation Law. (Approximately 1:15 p.m.)
§ Discussion of recommended legislation regarding
additional protections for 93,000-acre Agriculture Reserve. (Approximately 1:30 p.m.)
§ A lecture by local planning expert Gerrit Knaap,
executive director of the National Center for Smart Growth Research and
Education at the University of Maryland. (Approximately 7 p.m.)
