Description
This 10.2-acre property is located along MD 355 between Shawnee Lane and Cool Brook Lane in the Transit Corridor District of the Clarksburg Master Plan Area. It is zoned R-200 and is located adjacent to the Clarksbrook Estates community. The petitioner has filed a preliminary subdivision plan to construct a private educational institution for boys (known as Avalon School). The Avalon School will consist of four buildings and a total capacity for up to 600 students in grades 3 through 12 with parking for 81 cars.
