COVID-19 Information

Due to concerns over the potential for outbreaks of novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Montgomery County, The Maryland-National Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC), which includes the Montgomery County Planning Department, is continuing to work closely with local public health authorities, emergency management offices and other local governmental agencies to keep informed and updated on the current coronavirus situation. As you may know, being prepared and taking preventive measures are the keys to keeping our employees and the community members we serve healthy.

Due to the increase in COVID-19 positive cases in Montgomery County and through the nation, the Montgomery County Planning Board is suspending in-person testimony and attendance starting January 2022 and until further notice. Residents can participate in Planning Board meetings by testifying virtually and watching the meeting on the Planning Board’s live stream. For accessibility accommodations contact us.

Planning Board meetings are streamed live online and recorded for on-demand viewing at www.MontgomeryPlanningBoard.org/watch.

Our M-NCPPC Safety Office is available 24 hours / 7 days a week through the following numbers: (301) 395-0563; (301) 275-5126; (240) 393-0419.
