But wouldn&#8217;t mass transit be a little more appealing if it felt like your <a href=\"http:\/\/www.designboom.com\/weblog\/cat\/9\/view\/8346\/subway-architecture.html\">commute was a scene from a very cool Japanese spy movie<\/a>?<\/p>\n<p>And Maryland made the New York Times <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2010\/10\/14\/fashion\/14CircaNow.html?ref=fashion\">this week <\/a>as a community that has taken interesting steps toward being green.
