Annual School Test

Annual School Test

The annual school test evaluates school utilization levels in all 25 school cluster areas at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. Each year, MCPS prepares the data on school cluster utilizations for the annual school test, the Planning Board adopts the results effective July 1, and the standards apply to the following fiscal year. If school utilization levels exceed certain thresholds, mitigation actions (school facility payments or moratorium) are prescribed as applicable. The adoption of the 2016 Subdivision Staging Policy introduced a new individual school test for elementary and middle schools, effective January 1, 2017. Below are links to the most recent annual school tests.
