Join the Bike Safari to the National Zoo from Veterans Plaza in downtown Silver Spring, starting at 10 a.m. Cycle about 7.5 miles through Rock Creek Park and then enjoy a couple hours at the zoo. You’ll have the option to bike back, take Metro or continue your own adventure from the zoo. The ride is part of the Planning Department’s Silver Spring Placemaking Initiative.
